Rabbi Dust is new, small, and therefore much more prepared to help
those that don't have the notoriety or the resources to be noticed
by the big publishers. This entire store is run and managed by
myself, Shane Anderson, so you'll deal directly with me all the
time. No department middle-men to go through. We do not even have
set contracts for percentages of products sold or anything like
that. Instead you and I can talk about your needs and come to a
mutually beneficial arrangement. The idea is to get quality
resources into the hands of those that are hungry and thirsty for
more of God.
I want to focus on material that helps those understand the
Jewishness of their faith. Due to wide range and often
contradictory material on this topic, any item considered for the
store of a doctrinal/teaching nature does go through an oversight
team that I am accountable too. This is a necessary and important
step that protects our mutual customers. That said, I believe in
the radical, and so does my oversight.
Products that can be downloaded are definitely preferred over
physical goods. We can help you with producing the audio or video
if you have the raw material available. When someone buys a
downloadable product, they are presented with a link in their
browser, and in an email that will allow them to download the item.
This way we can sell audio teaching, music CDs, videos, books in
PDF format, software and more without ever shipping anything. The
customer is more likely to buy if they can download the item
instantly, and we ensure the quality of the product is excellent,
so they will come back and buy more.
